The breastfeeding series was something that I wanted to do for awhile now. More specifically, I wanted to show the strength and gentleness of women - of motherhood.  Going into this project, I didn't realize how powerful the images could become or what it would mean. I just followed my heart - whatever it wants.

That's when I met this beautiful goddess...  She is everything that I had imagined going into the shoot and so much more.  She's a mom, a model, and a business owner (find her awesomeness here: http://www.powderroombridal.com/).  She is beautiful and courageous, strong and gentle, above all else she's a friend. The one you call to tell about your exciting news, the one who cries at movies with you, the one who is always up to go on any adventure, the one who is happy to be there for you.  Case in point, we were told to leave the property where we originally wanted to shoot while it was raining on us the whole time.  The next location was at least 30 minutes away.  We pulled over on the side of the road and started shooting. In the rain and in between the rain. I'm so glad she is all that amazing because we were able to capture these:
